Felix was already drinking a beer, while I was fighting with my sore legs to finish the Berliner Halbmarathon (21,3km), last sunday afternoon. We both had better days, but we shouldn't be too crampy about the results. Still, we both finished with a personal best record: F: 1h35min / S: 2h3min.
Anywaysss, we feel fit and can't wait to kick off! (PS: The pictures are screenshots. The orginals are a bit too expensive..) S

Gear is arriving, also excuses that cold, dark winter days seem to bring. Our brains starting to get warmed up for mental challenges. Tomorrow I will run again, now I absolutely need to finish this post.
S. Since we started to read about the PCT, we repeatedly come across the fenomenon 'Trail Angels'. Today we met two of them - Scout and Frodo (trail names) - through email correspondence. We where reading their mails with our mouths wide open... They offer us (and 50 other go-hikers) a pick up from the airport, shelter, food, drinks and a ride to the start of the trail. For all this, they don't want anything in return! Just an encouragement to walk the PCT. They walked the trail and must have loved it a lot. Please let these coming three months go by so very very fast! .....
Scout & Frodo thank you a lot!! Please note that Scout and Frodo's situation is special. A lot of 'Trail Angels help' does depend on donations! Last run of the year on our one and only Tempelhofer Feld! Hopefully 2015 will look way more sunny ;p Wishing you a good, healthy, fit new year with lots of great miles!!!
One more week, and we will seriously start to train for the 'Berliner Halbmarathon'. Hopefully we will smash our former records big time, on the 29th of march. Today we ran a nice round, from our home in Neukölln to Treptower Park. (12,8 km)
